Jim Kouri, terrorism expert, writer, commentator and contributing editor for Chief of Police Magazine, wrote an excellent article about Mark Levin’s roll in uncovering the Wilson/Plame/Schumer conspiracy.

Talk Host, Attorney Exposes Sen. Schumer, Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame
After three years of Democrats and the news media smearing members of the Bush Administration, it appears that Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) conspired with Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame to use the justice system to attack members of the Bush Administration, said New York’s top talk show host and former Reagan Justice Department chief of staff, Mark Levin.

I think the most dead on line of the story is that Wilson’s actions are what resulted in his wife’s career coming to an end.
Joe you sure are some loyal hubby. You traded your wife for your 15 minutes of fame and because you are completely partisan. Judas had nothing on you Joe. No one was aware of you before . You had no experience in investigation. And having been an ambassador means you went to parties and courted business from the nations you served in. Still you had her push you as the best man for the job. And afterwards wow Joey you get to spend three years on tv and in magazines spreading the word that the msm loves to hear, Bush is corrupt and endangered your wife. Looks like your fun is over Joey. Of course when the attention dies down you’ll have an angry wife to deal with as she won’t be distracted by the limelight anymore either. That Joey may be the ultimate and worst punishement.

I’m not sure Valerie was an unwilling participant in this Niger endeavor. It could even have been her idea from the start. Who knows? She was a big lib herself, just like her husband.

And I’m sure they made plenty of money off the sale of their book, and of course, their efforts to make trouble for the Bush Administration will keep them popular amongst the rest of their ilk. They may have fallen short of complete success, but they definitely made life difficult for some good people.

Fitzpatrick should just drop this case and leave Scooter Libby alone. If it isn’t a case of politics, then why didn’t Armitage get into any trouble, since he was the big blabbermouth. This case has always had a bad smell to it.
