I am sick and disgusted at what has happened over the week-end. My country is now in a worse position than it was 4 weeks ago, and more than 100 people have died needlessly. If this pathetic “cease-fire” is all that Israel could get for their blood, then that blood should never have been shed in the first place. It’s a sad day for me, and I have to say that Condoleeza Rice has lost all credibility in my eyes. I wanted to vote for her in 2008. By the very provisions of the Resolution, no other conclusion can be made other than America and the West capitulated to terrorist demands with their “yay” vote on friday.
Olmert is a weak Prime Minister, and Levin is spot on with everything with what he said, as usual. Olmert, I strongly believe, will be forced to resign, or the government will collapse within the month. Criticism against Olmert and Peretz has come hard and fast. The terrorists have won today, my friends, and the very countries sworn to fighting terrorism are responsible for handing that victory to them on a silver platter.
I am weeping for the amount of people that have died and will die after Hezbollah rearms ever stronger than before, and there are 15,000 UNIFIL forces assisting their fight to destroy Israel. Expect to see more terrorist attempts and attacks around the world, because on Friday night, the terrorist world and despots everywhere saw a little “nothing” Army of Hezbollah, with their 60 year old Katyushas and Ak-47s bring the most powerful nations in the world to their knees. I weep for all of us.

Is Prime Minister Olmert an example of the “self-hating Jew” phenomenon that I have always heard about? If he isn’t, I shudder to think what a Prime Minister who DID hate himself and his Jewishness would do under these circumstances.
Aurora, it depends on when you went to school. years ago we used to be taught the truth about Isreal and the Middle East. Now the kids are forced to recognize Islamic ‘holydays’ at school. Where’s the Madelyn O’Hairs, the separation of church and state dummies? Oh, thats right theyre busy doing their ‘appeasement’ thing this month. Will someone tell them that the Islamic-fascists plan to kill them too? If the Jihadists ever got hold of America, the homosexuals, the Hollywood types, Liberal DemoRats, Hillary Clinton and other old and/or feminist females, athists of all types, the ‘appeasers’, and Jews and all brands of Christians, and children from about 10 and up are going to be systenatically and immediately slaughtered. I figure the younger children will be indocrinated into the Islamic-fascist ‘beliefs’ and the boys will be taught to kill their own people. The young women and girls will become mothers to Islamic-fascist babies. Few good things – No more NY Slimes and Michael Moore, et al will be gone. The type of women who would take their little children onto planes in order to murder them along with other innocent people high above the Atlantic Ocean are the mothers of the Jihadists so dont think all the Islamic-fascists are men.
