The Great One faced off the dynamic duo, Alan Colmes and loveable liberal Bill Beckel. Surprisingly, Levin and Beckel agreed on Israel’s right to defend itself from terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah. However, Alan Colmes attempted to champion Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter as engaged in the conflict and George Bush as disengaged. Well, let’s just say Colmes got schooled.READ MORE .

Great job finding that video Tim! Great post!
Mark really mopped the floor with Colmes! I saw the show last night and was hoping that somehow we could get that video here.
Colmes must be in rectal defilade.
Clinton and Carter engaged?
Clinton is only engaged with where his next intern will come from.
Carter is only engaged in which terrorist group he will support next.
I kinda like that idea, Clinton & Carter engaged…go to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts & get married boys…after all it would just political marriage to solidify your base…
Nothing beats Mark’s nerve, intelligence and sense of humor.
Mark, you forgot to say onme thing, the fact is Saddam is not there to help the hezzbos do their thing. Why isn’t anybody remembering that one of the biggest funders of the wars over in the middle east, can be traced back to ol Saddam and his bag of cash. We did the world and the Jews of Israel a favor. They are fighting for their lives, Thank God and George W. Bush they are not having to tackle that goof too. Also Thank You Lord, somebody finally got to the Bakka Valley!
I can answer why Bush went after Iraq and not Iran. We had a cease fire still in effect from the first Gulf War which Iraq was breaking. The U.N. had dozens of resolutions that Iraq ignored. He was shooting at our planes in the No Fly Zone virtually every day. In short, we had legal justification for taking out Saddam. Not so with Iran.
Correct you are, Darwin, on how that evolved yet “legal” justifications such as Iraq’s violation of the cease-fire and 17 previous UN resolutions are unnecessary. What matters is, Saddam Hussein’s regime posed a threat to our national security, Congress authorized military action, and President Bush determined action was necessary. Those criticizing that decision are peaking out from where they stuck their heads and talking out of the same place.
BTW, Darwin, Iran directly attacked us 27 years ago and used or supported their proxies, terrorists, to attack us many times since. It is way past time for us to break the mullahs’ plates.

I’m not a historian nor a military scholar. But I know this; the winner does not need to justify themselves. They write the history. They impose the law. In the good old USA, we have the best circumstances on the planet. This is after my peop;es were all but exterminated. But we are given ALL
sorry, I hit the wrong key and did not finish.
We (native americans) are given all rights and priveledges that everyone else has. We have equal opportunities that are pretty dam great!!! This is why I cannot understand why we are pussyfooting around in Iraq and everywhere else in the middle east. My thoughts are; we should conquer first, then grant freedom when deserved. I KNOW that this stratigy works. It takes about a hundred years, but iot works!!! I cannot understand the loony libs who think this middle east shit can be resolved in a few months. It aint gonna happen until we conquer them, then grant them the freedoms we enjoy every day. It’s a good thing in the end. Just ask me. I know.
I agree with F. Lee. Beckel is a GREAT BIG ONE.
