There will be no wider war in the Middle East, unless we decide to take out the regimes in Iran and Syria (a wider war I support). Jordan won’t fight. Saudi Arabia won’t fight. And the strongest of the Arab states, Egypt, won’t fight. Here’s Mubarak.
I believe Israel is doing a far better job systematically driving out Hezbollah that many think. Hence, the Axis of Genocide (including Hezbollah and Iran) joined by the Axis of Appeasement (including the U.N. and EU) are demanding an immediate cease-fire. Meanwhile, Israel presses on  street by street, launch pad by launch pad, tunnel by tunnel.
