You have a right not to campaign against him, and to vote for his opponent if he is your congressman. But he has a right and obligation to say what he believes even if it is unpopular. Trying to get our military home safely if he believes the war in Iraq has been mishandled and the situation is deteriorating rather than improving is not stabbing them in the back. Nor does it that those who agree with him don’t appreciate the sacrifices our military makes.

I have the deepest respect for those who have served, are serving, or will serve this great nation; but Mr Murtha’s comments are a dis-service to our brave men and women in harm’s way and to our nation as a whole. Kick this bum back to private life where he belongs.

It is said once a Marine always a Marine. Not in this case. The man is a disgrace to the Corps and his country. To read about and see them as they truly are I suggest Casper Weinberger’s book Home of the Brave. It should be required reading for all students so that they may appreciate what our military does for us.

Well, as it always stands as far as Conservative women are concerned, she is a very beautiful lady, but beauty should not decide as to how you cast your vote. With that said, if the ticket were to be decided between Murtha vs. Mothra, I would vote for Mothra. This so called man and Marine should not be holding public office.
