My wife and I saw it this weekend and were awed. A very weel-done movie, honoring these heroes. At the end of the movie, you could have heard a pin drop. No one said a word...it was like everyone was holding their breath. Everyone was awe-struck.

May God's peace be with them and their familes.

I don't go to the movies for a couple of reasons. One, I hate Hollyweird with a passion and two, if I cant put it on pause and get up and get a beer I don't want to be there. With that said I will probably go and see this movie in the theaters, but what has really got me pissed off is the way the MSM is reporting the attendance of this movie. The way they mention this movie, they start out by saying "The controversial movie United 93..." What the hell is controversial about this movie? It's real, it happened, it's fact. There is nothing controversial. And to top it all off, that schmuck Jack Mathews that does the reviews for movies in The New York Daily News, said he wouldn't recommend the movie to anyone, but I am sure he had no problem recommending a movie about gay cowboys, or that George Looney (that's right, I said Looney) movie that sugarcoated terrorists and made America look like the bad guys. I guess Jackoff Mathews wont recommend it because he is in the same boat as Looney and he doesn't want to offend our dear muslim friends. (Yes muslim, with a lowercase "m", they don't garner my respect for a capital "M") I must go now and have some caffeine so I can calm down.

Marklevinfan,

What do you think of the DCBA having a "field trip" to watch the movie?

E-mail me if you like the idea.

Suzi and I went on Friday, the only noise I made was when the Angels attacked the terrorists. I said through clenched teeth, Rip their heads off". If you haven't seen this movie, go see it tonight. Many of us may feel that we don't need to be motivated because we are still angty from the day it happened, but this film will renew your faith as well as your anger. We stayed in the theater untill the credits were done and the lights came up, this should not be the last story told of that day. God bless the heroes of United93, God bless all of our heroes. We owe them all so much.

The American Heroes on Flight 93 are just that...Heroes in the truest meaning of the word...WE, AS AMERICAN CITIZEN'S, MUST REMIND OUR CONGREESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVES OF THIS FACT EACH & EVERY DAY...THEY ARE STILL ALIVE &
ABLE TO DO THEIR JOB BECAUSE OF THE ABSOLUTE BRAVERY OF THOSE AMERICAN PATRIOTS; WHO "CHOSE"
TO SACRIFICE THEMSELVES TO SAVE "THEIR" LIVES..
I BELIEVE THAT FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART & WILL TO THE DAY THAT I DIE...AND I SHUDDER WITH
DISGUST WHEN I HEAR WHAT I HEAR COMING FROM THE HALLS OF CONGRESS...IN REGARDS TO THEIR PATRONIZING LACK OF RESPECT TO THE TRUE AMERICAN HEROES OF THIS WAR..."THE FIRST RESPONDERS" OF FLIGHT 93 & OUR "CITIZENS" IN UNIFORM...ON THE FRONT LINES AROUND THE WORLD DEFENDING OUR FREEDOM, AS WELL AS, THE IGNORANCE OF SOME OF OUR ELECTED INDIVIDUALS...

Phil and I saw "United 93" last night. It was just something that we both felt we had to do. We knew from what we had already heard about the movie from people we trust, that it was made the right way, and for the right reasons. It was done without an agenda other than to tell the story of that flight, and the incredibly brave people who happened to be passengers that day, which is why we had to support the effort.

It's the age-old story of good vs. evil, and although sadly, our heroes all died right along with the demented Islamist extremists themselves when the plane went down, the spirit of those brave Americans will live on forever. God bless the U.S.A.!

It was really very strange. At the end of the movie, when the screen went blank, and the silence, was almost deafening, there was a splattering of applause by some who wanted to express their appreciation of, and respect for, what they had just witnessed. Not everybody clapped, but I know it was only because people were confused as to whether or not applause was appropriate, considering the tragic nature of the movie.

I didn't feel I wanted to applaud, but I did join in briefly, because I didn't want those few who were clapping to feel even more uncomfortable. Then, one young man, in a tearful voice, cried out, "We must never forget what they did to us!" I said, "Amen to that!", while others applauded him for what he said, in his own way trying to pay tribute to our fallen fellow Americans.

I'm telling you, it was an incredible experience. Quite surreal. So many different feelings all working on you at once. I understand what the critic said about not faulting those who do not want to see it. I tend to agree, in most cases. Unfortunately, I do believe that there are also those who do not want to see it, but for entirely the WRONG reasons. Like those who say that it's too soon to show this movie. I question some of their motives. Somehow I don't think these same people had a problem with "Farenheit 9-11" being shown too soon. I hope I'm wrong about that.

I haven't seen it yet, but I plan to make it one of the unusual expenditures I can do on May Day...shop till you drop everyone- the illegal aliens think that we will really regret any of them exiting our lives in any way.
The Democrats want them to think that they are right, and we Conservatives must make them really worry about getting out soon enough!

Solemn from the opening of the film until the end. 'UNITED 93' is the definative movie so far that explains the pure evil we face in the global war on terror and brings home again the harsh reality of the morning when our world changed forever. Hail to the Heroes that inspired a nation with their courage and sacrifice and damn those who don't know the difference.
