So long as America exists as a democracy, the oppressive influence of tyrants and terrorists remains at risk. Jihad, holy war, is their strategy and subversion is their ally. Terrorists seek the collaboration of a few and quietly revel at a growing insurgency of naïve protestors.
President Bush was correct. Freedom itself was attacked on 9/11 yet it has always been so. That day was only the bloodiest day so far in this fight, the War on Terror. No one wants to believe “the war will last decades” and no one expects anyone running for President in 2008 to use those words as their campaign slogan. Yet the enemy has already fought it for decades, peace is an illusion, and surrender by either side is not an option. Although the four years we have fought it have left far fewer Americans dead than four days at Gettysburg, the current vitriol rises to that leveled at Lincoln
Few seem to listen to war reports from our troops on the ground or the predictions of more attacks here. Osama bin Laden, Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas all promise to surpass the greatest crime of the 20th century and the ‘loyal’ opposition acts unembarrassed that OBL is using their talking points. Germany outlawed the Nazi Party after World War II. Today, they set terrorists sentenced to life free to kill again while they are young and still breathing. While Hitler’s saboteurs were hanged here, American lawyers flock to Gitmo to defend al Qaeda’s killers pro bono.
Otherwise, life looks much the same here as before 9/11. Most Americans want even more security yet grumble at even modest security measures at airports and public buildings. Slightly fewer assert without proof they are victims, targeted by our government without premise.
The enemy is also correct. They cannot win a conventional war. So long as America exists as a democracy, the oppressive influence of tyrants and terrorists remains at risk. Traitors and unwitting buffoons [content warning] hasten the enemy’s selective use WMD and more conventional attacks. Thousands or perhaps millions more Americans will die, here on this ground. We all know what is coming yet most of us merely watch as the headlights approach.
The survivors of those days fooled into inaction no longer will unite out of necessity.
We will begin to win the War on Terror when quarter for the enemy ends on this and every battlefield. Before the wholesale carnage in our streets, expect even more anger in our debates. Afterwards, “you are either for us or against us,” will return in the past tense. It will also be uttered with contempt and cited frequently at sentencing.

NBC News aired an “exclusive” story in 2004 that dramatically recounted how al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar, the San Diego terrorists who would later hijack American Airlines flight 77 and fly it into the Pentagon, received more than a dozen calls from an al Qaeda “switchboard” inside Yemen where al-Mihdhar’s brother-in-law lived. The house received calls from Osama Bin Laden and relayed them to operatives around the world. Senior correspondent Lisa Myers told the shocking story of how, “The NSA had the actual phone number in the United States that the switchboard was calling, but didn’t deploy that equipment, fearing it would be accused of domestic spying.” Back then, the NBC script didn’t describe it as “spying on Americans.” Instead, it was called one of the “missed opportunities that could have saved 3,000 lives.”

Yes Tim, with the “Voices of Treason” on the left spewing their inane rhetoric, people begin to forget just how dangerous the situation is. I am amazed at the appathy here in the NY Metro area, the next big attack is likely to be right here in the Big Apple, and they act as if it were 9/10/01.
As we look upon this photo here too–let us also be reminded of the past Instances of Infamy, Brutality and Cowardness, that ; America, it’s Citizens, and it’s unsuspecting populatiion has meet at the hands of the enemies of Democracy and Freedom!
And let us also remember too–that out of these very past times there has been two factions working ,
